Beyonce - Best Thing I Never Had (Music Video!)
After her old flame showed his ass in her 'prom', Beyonce manages to find the true love of her life and gets married in the music video for "Best Thing I Never Had", the official second single from the R&B diva's latest studio album '4' (which debuted this week at #1 in the US having sold 310k copies) - Even though Beyonce looks absolutely flawless in it, I was expecting something more from the Diane Martel-directed clip. I mean, most of the video is about hapiness, Beyonce's big day, etc. However, "Best Thing I Never Had" also revolves around revenge and karma. For something the song contains lyrics like "what goes around comes back around" and "sucks to be you right now". I wanted to see some ass-kicking too and Beyonce rubbing all her new found hapiness on his old lover's face. BTW, I wonder if that lingerie is part of the new House of Dereon collection, cause B was totally selling it, lol.
