Shaking and crying!! Check out this recently leaked 'behind the scenes' footage of the "Put It In A Love Song" music video!! So far the only thing we had was the hyper-super-mega short 'Oprah' sneak peek - The Melina Matsoukas-directed clip for the Alicia Keys and Beyonce collaboration, included on the first's latest album "Element Of Freedom", was shot ONE YEAR AGO. To be precise, on February 9th, 2010, in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. "Put It In A Love Song" was gonna be back then the third single from Alicia's "Element of Freedom" but in a sudden move, her label decided to push foward "Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready)" and release that instead. Ever since...no trace, no news, no nothing about the "Put It In A Love Song" visual. Well, there was the 'Oprah' sneak peek, when Alicia was interviewed on her show in that time....but still...all the promo "Put It In A Love Song" simply disappeared after that.
However, today, March 9th, this 'behind the scenes' footage found its way online and hopefully it is an indicator that the full video will finally see the light of day soon...legally or illegally...I don't care...I just want to see it! We've waited soooo long. We deserve it. Alicia could perfectly release the song as a new single now...I mean, it's carnival time everywhere now and the famous Brazilian carnival in Rio de Janeiro is also around these dates I believe.
