Avicii - Fade Into Darkness (Music Video!)
Avicii takes the lead and premieres the music video for "Fade Into Darkness" before Leona Lewis releases her "Collide" visual - You probably already know the story...this Swedish DJ produced a killer club instrumental named "Penguin", Leona Lewis allegedly used a sample of it for her new single "Collide" without Avicii's permission, they had a little legal dispute, which was in the end settled. We don't know exactly how, but on the new official cover for Leona's "Collide" single Avicii's name appears, so that must have been one of the requests by the Swedish DJ's legal team, besides obtaining royalties of course.
Anyway, Avicii has now premiered the music video for HIS original version of the single "Penguin", which has been re-named as "Fade Into Darkness" for its 'vocal edit', that features Danish singer Andreas Moe. There are really almost no differences between Avicii and Leona's version, other than Avicii added a few more club bass beats, but that's it. Well, of course the lyrics too but that's a whole different story. Now that I think about it I actually like the deep message of "Fade Into Darkness" better than Leona's "Collide", but on the VOCALS side, Leona wins hands down. As for the "Fade Into Darkness" music video, something better explain me the plot! Why did she shoot him? To 'escape from the darkness'?
