Austin Mahone Talks Saying "I Love You" to Taylor Swift & Career Mistakes on "TODAY" Book Promo Interview
Austin Mahone has a book out. Did he write it? Probable not, but he has a book out. It’s called “Austin Mahone: Just How It Happened: My Official Story” and it went on sale today (Dec. 9) across all US book retailers. It’s also available online on Amazon where you can get it for just $11.79. Boasting 224 pages, and with a target audience of teens of 8 - 12 years, Austin's book narrates the whole "journey" of the Texas-born pop star.
The 18-year-old singer stopped by NBC’s “The Today Show" this morning for a one-on-one chat with Matt Lauer. He was basically there to plug the book and that he did well - but it looked like he got a bit “roasted” by Lauer too. The host was very insistent on his question about the "mistakes" Austin had probably made during his rise-to-stardom journey. You could notice the uncomfortable-ness on Austin's face. The rest of the interview was very laid-back. Other things discussed were: Austin meeting “Style” star Taylor Swift for the first time and getting to say "I love you" to her, the moment he knew he was meant to be more than just a YouTube star, or being unable to call any place home (weak response, though).
