Ariana Grande demonstrated she can rap too last night on NBC’s “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon” when she stepped in to do Nicki Minaj’s “Side to Side” verse during the second TV performance of the new “Dangerous Woman” single to date.
Looking cute in crop grey top and baggy pants and sporting her signature high ponytail, the pint-size singer delivered a solid performance of “Side to Side” yesterday night. Her vocals sounded crystal clear and just like the studio version. Incredible!
When the time came for the Nicki Minaj rapped verse, everyone in the ‘Fallon’ studio was alert in case Onika made a surprise appearance but unfortunately she didn’t. But what did Ariana do to compensate for this absence? Did she walk around the stage while Nicki’s verse played on the backing track? Hell no! She rapped the frickin’ verse!
