“Problem” / “Bang Bang” much?
Ariana Grande took to Instagram today (Oct. 6) to unveil the first real snippet of the studio version of her forthcoming single “Focus On Me”, the first official offering from the pint-sized singer’s yet-untitled third studio album that's due in stores later this year via Republic Records. “Focus” will be released on October 30th.

Horns, horns and horns! But…aren’t horns so 2014? This totally sounds like a “Problem” / “Bang Bang” hybrid and I’m a bit disappointed in the sense Ariana would be playing it too safe if this “hybrid” is confirmed. Why stay in the past and not move forward with a new exciting sound? Anyhow, I’ll hold my final judgment about “Focus On Me” till the full version is out – there might be a surprise! The snippet sounds cute, though. “Focus” is going to be a girly anthem apparently. “1, 2, 3... come on girls!", sings Ariana in the snippet.
