Amy Macdonald on "This Morning" (UK)
Scottish singer Amy MacDonald kick-started this week the TV promotion of her new sophomore album "A Curious Thing", in stores now. Amy appeared recently on ITV's "This Morning" show to perform the first single entitled "Don't Tell Me That It's Over". Excellent vocals! She has a unique singing tone.

Amy commented to a British newspaper on the possibility of not debuting at the number one spot on the UK charts with her new album (released March 8th), and being beaten by pop band Boy Zone:
"I don't expect my album will go to the top because Boyzone have already cornered that market."
She continued: "If they get to number one it's fine. I fully expect it to happen. They were getting plenty [of] pre-orders and I don't expect to do well against them. If I did get to the top, I'd be over the moon but I'm just happy that I've got a second album out."
