Alicia Keys Performs "In Common" & Brand New Song "Hallelujah" On "SNL": Watch
R&B songstress Alicia Keys was the musical guest on Episode 19 of Season 41 of "Saturday Night Live" last night, May 7th, on NBC. Alicia was there to perform new music from her much-anticipated upcoming sixth studio album - the follow-up to 2012's "Girl on Fire" (about time a new era kicked off, huh?).
Yesterday Alicia Keys, looking a bit too "street", opened her "SNL" set with a live performance of her new official single "In Common". AK belted the Illangelo-produced euphoric sultry song standing at her fancy piano and backed by her hand.
For her second performance, Alicia treated viewers with an unheard-to-date song from her forthcoming studio album, due in stores this summer, called "Hallelujah". She just took us to church with this song. "I’ve been praying, but I’m paying for my sins", sang AK. Her band members couldn't help but to clap along when the second chorus hit in and the tempo went up a bit. Loved it!
