Alicia Keys - Rapture & Dido - Everything To Lose (New Songs!)
Oooh here it is! Check out Alicia Keys' cover of the Blondie classic "Rapture" - included on the upcoming "Sex and the City 2" movie soundtrack due May 25. I like! Very close to the original, but Ms AK added her magic to it. Definitely worth listening to this neo-funky track. Alicia is currently on the road with her "Freedom" World Tour and has confirmed to have started writing new songs for her next album.
British singer Dido is also featured on the Sarah Jessica Parker film's soundtrack. The Londonder recorded for it a brand new song entitled "Everything To Lose". Sounds cool. A fusion of a midtempo tune with laidback vocals and funky dance beats. Interesting mix. I think Dido is also planning to release a new album in 2010, the follow-up to "Safe Trip Home". It's been two years so I think it's a good time to comeback.
