I didn’t expect my day to be made so quickly today.

Ruler of all things great Adele was the latest guest to hop on on James Corden’ “Carpool Karaoke” skits. The CBS late-night talk show host travelled all the way to London, England – because in royal fashion, the Queen doesn’t come to you, you go to the Queen – to meet with “Million Years Ago” singer Adele and give her a drive she wouldn’t be able to forget – for the whole journey would be taped on camera for later broadcast on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” back in America, where millions of people would watch it.

After a hilarious “Hello” intro (such an iconic easy joke this is now…), James Corden welcomed Queen Adele on board his SUV and rapidly they’d be on the go. In “Carpool Karaoke” tradition, a couple of Adele hits came on radio by chance and the two would start singing along – with Adele getting all the attention of course, because home-girl was truly SANGING! However, the epic part of Adele’s “Carpool Karaoke” skit wasn’t her rendition of her own songs, or her dialogues, it was the moment when she rapped to Nicki Minaj’s “Monster” verse! The Kanye West/Jay-Z smash hit was one of the random songs that came on radio during the ride too. Although, was this really by chance? Part of me thinks that it was Adele’s petition for “Monster” to be played on the ride because she slaaaaaaayed it. She served the right attitude, the right hand moves, and she nailed every lyric. For a moment I sincerely believed Adele made a mistake being a singer, when she should’ve been a rapper! Ha. What a golden TV moment this was. Will replay for eternity for sure!

Oh, and of course Nicki Minaj would have something to say on Twitter after watching yesterday’s “Carpool Karaoke” skit.

“I’MMA MOTHERF*CKING MONSTER!”
