5 Second Of Summer’s New Album “Youngblood” Out June 22, See Artwork + ‘Meet You There Tour’ Dates Announced!
5 Seconds of Summer revealed moments ago the title, cover art and release date for their much-anticipated third studio album. The title is "Youngblood", the cover art is the one above (very cool, dark and mysterious), and the release date is June 22nd. This Thursday, April 12, the pre-order for "Youngblood" will be launched on iTunes at 10am EST and at the same time the title track will be released as the first countdown single (which could be upgraded to official single if fans give it massive love).
In an official statement, here's what Luke Hemmings from 5SOS had to say about the band's me album: “Growing up is what we had to do on Youngblood. Seven years as a band may seem like a long time, but we were teenagers when we started. We had to look at each other and say, ‘Are we going to stop now, or do this forever? Because if we continue, then we have to go farther than we ever have before.’”

But there's more good news for 5SOS fans coming this week. Given the fast selling of the mini tour the Australian band will be doing in North America throughout this month, the guys have decided to expand the experience and will be doing a larger tour in larger venues later this year in North America - with international dates for this new tour coming soon too. Dubbed "The Meet You There Tour", see the first dates below. Tickets go on sale this Friday on Live Nation.
