YG Shot Three Times In Los Angeles
Compton native YG suffered three gunshot wounds to the hip early Friday morning at a recording studio in Los Angeles. According to TMZ, the incident occurred around the time of 1:45AM and took place in Studio City. The Def Jam artist was immediately taken to a local hospital in the area by members of his team and is said to be “doing fine” as the wounds are not life-threatening.
The shooter has yet to be apprehended by police. TMZ also reports police went to the hospital to interview YG but couldn’t get much information out of him as he is being "very uncooperative." What caused the whole altercation in the first place is currently unknown.
YG has yet to respond to the shooting on social media. In 2014, the 25-year old released his debut album ‘My Krazy Life’ via Def Jam Records to positive reviews from media outlets and fans. YG has been quiet as of late musically but is said to be working on his sophomore LP.
