World Premiere: The Chainsmokers & XYLØ - "Setting Fires": Full Audio + Review

the chainsmokers setting fires

The Chainsmokers dropped yesterday (Nov. 5) their much-hyped second EP “Collage”. This5-track mini-project features two old songs from the American production duo (“Inside Out” and “Don’t Let Me Down”), their two last official singles “Closer” and “All We Know”, and a new track called “Setting Fires”, featuring pop duo XYLØ.

“Closer” is (still) the #1 song in America, when it finally concedes “All We Know” will take its place as the next single from The Chainsmokers and be a hit too no doubt, and when the time of “All We Know” is up, “Setting Fires” will take the spotlight. If my estimates are right, the XYLØ-assisted song will be an official single in the first quarter of 2017 and it will smash big time also. Amazing how all the songs of the “Collage” EP will be hits, huh? Columbia Records really hit the jackpot with The Chainsmokers.

Stream below the full audio of “Setting Fires” - the last new song from The Chainsmokers we will be hearing in a while.

“I can't keep you from harm / But I'm set on fire to keep you warm”, sings Paige Duddy of XYLØ on the chorus of the electropop song, where she basically says she’d do it all to keep her lover content. How nice of her!
