It’s here! At exactly midnight on Monday (Oct. 13), Taylor Swift’s brand new song “Out of the Woods” was released in full on iTunes. The Harry Styles-inspired and 80’s-influenced pop mid-tempo is the first iTunes Countdown Single from Ms. Swift’s upcoming fifth studio album (and first full pop album) “1989", out everywhere on October 27th. “Out of the Woods” was produced and co-written by Fun.’s Jack Antonoff. Taylor had teased this new song earlier on Monday on “Good Morning America”, and had talked about it on a special video on YouTube, but the full audio of “Out of the Woods” has finally arrived. Stream it below, and then get it on iTunes. OK?

Out of the Woods” officially is track #4 on “1989" and lasts 3:55 minutes.

“Out of the Woods” song review

Is "1989" en route to be Taylor's best album yet? 'Cause I am crazy about "Out of the Woods". The chorus may be repetitive as hell but it's catchy anyway, and I'm feeling a lot the 80's inspiration in the song. "Remember when you hit the brakes too soon / Twenty stitches in a hospital room", sings Taylor in the bridge of "Out of the Woods" in reference to an episode that occurred while she was going out with Harry Styles of One Direction.

By the way, you can totally tell Fun.'s Jack Antonoff was a member of the creating team for "Out of the Woods". I hear a bit of Bleachers in the song.
