World Premiere: One Direction - "Love You Goodbye" [Full Audio + Review]

one direction love you goodbye

British band One Direction, composed of Niall, Louis, Harry and Liam, made this Tuesday, November 10th, a happier day for their millions of fans around the world. Today they released a new “countdown single” from their forthcoming fifth studio album “Made in the A.M”, which hits stores this Friday, November 13th. The new song in question is “Love You Goodbye”, a pop/rock ballad co-written by Jacob Hindlin and Julian Bunetta.

There’s a lot of nice, deep sentiment and sadness caused by heartbreak in this song, but surprisingly One Direction made sure there was room for “naughtiness” too. 1D sings in “Love You Goodbye” about a young boy who has to say farewell to his lifetime girlfriend, who for some unknown reason has decided to end things. But instead of falling into depression, or get furious, the young boy keeps his head high and acknowledges that “It’s inevitable that everything that’s good comes to an end”. However, the male One Direction fan is also a strong believer in the “let’s end things with a bang!” saying. *gulps*. “Oh, why you’re wearing that to walk out of my life / Oh, even though it’s over you should stay tonight / If tomorrow you won’t be mine / Won’t you give it to me one last time”, sing One Direction in the chorus of “Love You Goodbye”. Naughty boys! I’m personally not in favor of “the last one”. Wouldn't this make the break-up even harder?

Update: Louis also co-wrote "Love You Goodbye". He made it very clear on Twitter.
