World Premiere: Meghan Trainor - “No” [Full Audio + Review]

Singer Meghan Trainor is back with new music - merely over a year after her debut album “Title” was released. Today, March 4th, the Massachusetts lady released her new single “No” on iTunes. The song is the official lead single from the “All About That Bass” star’s forthcoming second studio album “Thank You” - due in stores this Spring via Epic Records.

Speaking on theme of her new single, Meghan said this in an interview:

“It’s a big anthem for ladies about telling a dude, ‘Nah, I’m good—I’m out here on my own, and I’m good with it’. The scene is me in a club, and the dude comes up to me and I go, ‘No no no. I don’t need your hands all over me. I’m good. I’m gonna dance on my own with my girls’”.

The reviews I read from radio DJs that had already heard Meghan’s new single were totally true. “No” is a hit! It’s radio-friendly, super sing-alongy, “fresh” but true to Meghan’s style, and overall it sounds like something that will become super popular rather quickly (I am already obsessed).

No doubt “No” (produced by Ricky Reed) will soon become every girl’s new go-to boy-bashing anthem. I’m sure many ladies are going to be in a real hurry to sing this song out loud to a certain boy that has been behaving really, really bad.

Hit or Miss?
