Legendary diva Janet Jackson released a brand new ‘countdown’ single from her upcoming eleventh album “Unbreakable” (out in stores October 2nd) today (Sept. 25) on iTunes and it’s the Missy Elliott-assisted “Burn It Up”!!! Woot! We have been waiting to listen to the HQ studio version of this song ever since Janet debuted “Burn It Up” live at the kick-off show of her “Unbreakable World Tour” earlier this month in Canada.
Co-written by Janet Jackson, Missy Elliott, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis & Dem Jointz, “Burn It Up” is a bona-fide banger! I wouldn’t be surprised at all if DJ around the world start including “Burn It Up” to their sets staring this weekend. It’s fire, it’s upbeat Janet (which is always guarantee for success), Missy is the perfect addition and overall “come and let’s murder this dancefloor tonight” message is so inspiring, lol.
