World Premiere: Fergie - "L.A Love (La La)" [Full Audio]

fergie la love single cover

Fergie is back!! The Black Eyed Peas heroine's first single from her comeback album is called "L.A Love (La La)" and it's available for full stream NOW (listen below), one day ahead of its scheduled world premiere. The DJ Mustard-produced pop/urban song is set to impact on US radios on Monday (Sept. 29) morning and tomorrow is the day it was meant to be heard for the first time in its entirety but a sneaky leaker has boycotted Fergie and her label's scheduled plans as he's decided to unveil the full song today!

Fergie's second solo album (it's been 8 years since "The Dutchess") is rumored to be called "Smile Now, Cry Later" and Interscope plans to drop it in early 2015.

"L.A Love (La La)" Review

Fergie thinks she's still living in the early 2000s and I love it. "L.A Love (La La)" is certainly taking me back to those years when pop music felt more fun, fresh and unaffected. DJ Mustard's created a really nice pop-urban song for Fergie, She shows swagger in the verses and lets all of her catchy "force" loose in the hooks. The new single is basically an anthem with which all people around the world (well, technically for all the people that can relate to the places mentioned) can let their proud "represent (this is my city, country)" spirit show. Did you expect Fergie's sound to have evolved somehow? Actually I thought for a moment she was going to bring something different - I believe reading quotes from her saying she wanted to do something more "rock" - but I am happy she's staying with her old, early 2000s ways.

Hit or Miss?
