World Premiere: Alessia Cara - "How Far I'll Go": Full Audio + Review

alessia cara how fall ill go

Alessia Cara is contributing to the soundtrack of upcoming Disney film “Moana” (out in theaters this Thanksgiving) with this new song called “How Far I'll Go”, written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Alessia’s version of “How Far I'll Go” will be heard by movie-goers in the end-credits, while in the actual movie, the actress doing the voice of lead character Moana, will be the one singing the song. “How Far I'll Go” was released on iTunes yesterday (Oct. 28) via Walt Disney Records.

“See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me / And no one knows, how far it goes”, Alessia sings on the chorus. “If the wind on my sail on the sea stays behind me / One day I'll know, if I go there's just no telling how far I'll go”.

How Far I'll Go” is an empowering ballad, boasting a tropical-R&B production, where Ms. Cara doesn’t only deliver outstanding vocals but also shares a message regarding overcoming adversity in order to each one’s goals.

First "Wild Things", then "Scars to Your Beautiful" and now "How Far I'll Go"? Alessia is looking for her third smash this year!
