Willow Smith Performs on Ellen!
Willow Smith made her television debut on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday with a performance of her smash single "Whip My Hair", which can be purchased on iTunes now! Little Willow K-I-L-L-E-D it - Hands down! From the very intro with the stripped-back version of Rihanna's "Only Girl (In The World)" it was clear Willow was there to smash it, and so she did. I'm still amazed with the oh so powerful voice she brought foward when singing "Like I'm the oooonly girl in the woooorld!!". Sorry Rihanna but Willow has beaten you in your own song. That was actually the way I always hoped Rihanna would start a performance of "Only Girl", with a stripped back version, only vocals and then the beats started. Anyhow, very entertaining performance by Willow and very impressive to be a 10 year old, right? Just imagine what she could do when she's a few years older. Remember, Ms Smith is currently working on her debut album with Roc Nation (Jay-Z's label) and it's expected for release in the first quarter of 2011.
