Will.i.am Visits 'Lopez Tonight'
Will.i.am - one fourth of the Black Eyed Peas - appeared on 'Lopez Tonight' this past Thursday (December 23rd) - On said episode, the rapper/record producer sit down with show host George Lopez for a short interview (watch above) where he talked about; from the Peas' new CD "The Beginning", recording a song before the Mona Misa (at the Louvre) to selling 'raspados' on the street back in the day. Will.i.am also remembered BEP stans that the group will perform at the upcoming Super Bowl XLV's halftime show in February 2011. The biggest possible promotion outlet in America. Congrats to Fergie and Co.!
In not so happy news though, the Black Eyed Peas' new era is not performing as expected. The lead single "The Time (Dirty Bit)" might be doing it big in Europe and OK-ish in the US but the album sales of "The Beginning" are truly a shocker. It's flopping horribly! And I don't think there's any song on that album that could rescue the project (I forsee a 're-release' in the coming months). And a new world tour with a flop album is not going to happen. Even more reasons to ask Fergie to go solo again, don't you think? :).
