will.i.am & David Cook Perform on American Idol
will.i.am and David Cook were the guest performers on the latest results show of Fox's "American Idol" taking place on Thursday night, May 2. Watch videos below!
On the night contestant Amber Holcomb was unfairly voted off, the BEP star took Idol's center stage to deliver the first ever performance of his contribution to "The Great Gatsby" soundtrack, the half jazzy-half dance song "Bang Bang". This is also included on the deluxe edition of will.i.am's just-released flop album "#willpower", which only managed to debut at #9 on Billboard, selling 29k copies in its first week. So many 'features' for nothing!
Also on May 2 on Idol, season 7 winner, rocker David Cook performed his new single, "Laying Me Low". Great song, and great performance! "Laying Me Low" - available on iTunes now - is the first offering from the 30-year-old's upcoming yet-untitled third studio album due in stores later in 2013 via XIX Recordings. Hope "Laying Me Low" does well!
