Watch The Weeknd & Kendrick Lamar Perform “Sidewalks” For The FIRST TIME In L.A: VIDEO
Canadian superstar The Weeknd shot an exclusive "VEVO Presents" concert at the LA Hangar Studios over the weekend (when else, right?).
Although VEVO is yet to announce when they plan to premiere the full taped concert on their online platform, fan-shot footage is being uploaded on YouTube - giving us a peek at what went down in Los Angeles this past Saturday night.
One of the songs from his latest album "Starboy" The Weeknd performed at the LA Hangar Studios was the stand-out "Sidewalks". Saturday night's was the first ever known live performance of this song. Such a historic moment had to come with a surprise, right? YEP! The surprise was that The Weeknd performed "Sidewalks" with the help of song official collaborator Kendrick Lamar! He brought him on stage, without any prior warning to the fans in the crowd, towards the middle of the performance so he could do his KILLER VERSE. Crowd went wild.
AMAZING!
*Here's hoping "Sidewalks" gets the single treatment in the near future.
