WATCH: Nicole Scherzinger Performs on Daybreak & Nicki Minaj on Regis & Kelly!
Even though she gave a powerful and most likely energy-draining performance last night on The X Factor, Nicole Scherzinger had to stick to the 'promo tour' schedule and wake up super early in the morning today for a performance on ITV 1's breakfast show 'Daybreak'. Oh wow, how does she do it? I'd be so exhausted after a performance of the magnitude she delivered on The X Factor...Anyhow, Nicole appeared on 'Daybreak' today for a new live rendition of her new single "Poison". Unfortunately, Scherzy still hit the stage with that unflattering 'super hero' costume. Eek. As for the performance, it was what I was expecting...just okay. Nicole seemed tired to me and that reflected on her vocals. In any case, I'm happy for the sucess "Poison" is having thus far in the UK. It was released digitally just yesterday and it has peaked already at #2 on iTunes! Yey! It's pretty obvious "Poison" will debut atleast within the Top 10.
Nicki Minaj visited last month 'Regis & Kelly' along with will.i.am to perform their joint single "Check It Out", but today Nicki as a solo artist paid a second visit to the show to perform her latest single "Right Thru Me". Nicki looked fab and nailed the performance. BTW, big LOL at Regis slapping Nicki on the ass at 3:40! Niiice. Ms Minaj's "Pink Friday" CD is expected to debut with 375-400,000 copies sold.
