Watch Nicki Minaj's "My Time Again" MTV Documentary [Full]
MTV aired on Sunday night (Jan. 19) the Nicki
Minaj documentary "My Time Again" and it was a must-watch. So if you
missed it, this is your time to do things right.
The documentary was filmed around the time of
the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. The opening scene shows Nicki Minaj at
rehearsals of her "Anaconda" performance and getting the call of a
label executive announcing to her that the music video for one of her most
popular songs to date would premiere at midnight. Nicki freaked the hell out
(this hilarious first scene made me realize this was a 'must-watch', lol).
We then see behind-the-scenes footage of
Nicki's last year’s infamous "Bang Bang" VMAs performance with Jessie
J and Ariana Grande where she suffered a wardrobe malfunction. MTV cameras
catches the exact instant when Nicki realizes she had a problem with her outfit.
She thanked God she was using a headset and not a microphone otherwise it would
have been 'game over' for her. After doing what she could on stage, Nicki heads to her dressing room and got emotional about "ruining Jessie's
performance". MTV cameras are still rolling. The guy comforting her is no
other than J.Lo’s ex Casper Smart who was Nicki's choreographer for the VMAs.
