Watch Lady Gaga's Wizard of Oz-themed "Applause" Performance on 'Good Morning America' (and Interview)
Lady Gaga continues promoting "Applause" in the United States. Latest stop was on ABC's "Good Morning America" this Monday (Sept. 9) where the pop star performed the DJ White Shadow-produced electro-pop track featuring an eye-popping, strange-yet-cute theme of "The Wizard of Oz". I have to admit I cringed a bit, but all in all, this was a solid, and "different" performance. Gaga made "Applause" proud with those strong vocals too. As evident from the screencapture images above, Lady Gaga's new GMA performance featured a few outfit changes, choreograpghies, wig snatching and high energy. She sang a few seconds of Oz's "Somwhere Over The Rainbow" as intro. She killed it vocally here as well. I am liking "Applause" a bit more these days, and I'm glad to see it's still holding on strong on the US iTunes Top 10 and climbing spots on pop radio.
