Watch Kesha’s First Performance Of “Woman”: Live In Iowa!

She’s released the music, she’s promoted with interviews on the media, and now the time has come to perform it for the fans. Kesha performed last weekend her first live mini-concert in a while at Stir Cove, an “outside” venue at Harrah's Council Bluffs Hotel and Casino, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. What a random location to kick off this mini-tour in support of her upcoming album “Rainbow”, right? But, whatever! The point Kesha is back on the road, back to facing a live crowd, and back to eating a stage alive.

At this Stir Cove mini-concert, Kesha performed a 10-song setlist that consisted of old hits such as “We R Who We R” or “Tik Tok”, covers (Lesley Gore’s “You Don’t Own Me” for instance), solo versions of previous collaborations (Pitbull’s “Timber”), and of course, music from her upcoming album. Although, she did one song only from “Rainbow”. “Praying”? No! She didn’t perform her current single. Instead, Kesha preferred to deliver that Iowa night the first ever performance of “Woman” (don’t skip the “intro”. Kesha got emotional thanking her fans for her continuous support before the performance and shed a few tears).

Great performance of “Woman”. Kesha looked very energetic - like she had been building lots of anticipation for this first performance, she sounded epic and powerful, and the crowd clearly got their life from live Kesha. That’s all good, but what happened to “Praying”? Why this snub? Is she perhaps saving the first “Praying” performance for TV? I hope this is the reason and not that a certain “Doctor” has prohibited from performing this song…
