26-year-old rapper Kendrick Lamar was a guest on the August 29th episode of E!'s "Chelsea Lately". There, he spoke of his recent VMAs performance, his controversal verse on Big Sean's "Control" track - comparing it to a 'Kobe vs. Lebron' situation, and growing up in Compton, with Kendrick sharing a fun anecdote with Chelsea Handler about her mother finding out he was hooking up with girls in her van in his teenage years.
Lamar's "Good Kid, M.A.A.D City" is in stores now, and in fact, the rapper's second studio album has just been certified platinum in the US for 1 million+ sales. Congratulations!
