Watch Katy Perry Perform "Swish Swish" And "Bon Appetit" On 'SNL'
Katy Perry was the musical guest on the Dwayne Johnson-hosted 21st episode of Season 42 of “Saturday Night Live” last night on NBC. She performed live music from her forthcoming album “Witness”, which will be released in stores all around the world on June 6 via Capitol and Universal.
The two songs she chose to perform on “SNL” yesterday were: “Bon Appetit” (with the live presence of the rappers of Migos) and “Swish Swish” (unfortunately without the live presence of queen Nicki Minaj).
For the “Bon Appetit” performance, Katy wanted to kept the banquet theme of the music video with her performing on top of a center table as meal-goers seated around it. At one point of the performance, two female dancers wearing pink latex clothes would walk onto to the main table to perform with Katy a little cute choreography and the same did the Migos guys but to do their rap verses.
For the “Swish Swish” performance, Katy wanted the attention to be put on the drag queens walking the catwalk as she sang the allegedly anti-Taylor-Swift song on the side. And yes, THAT WAS VIVACIOUS FROM RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE! (Good to see you, queen!).
