Watch: Bruno Mars Covers Janet & Michael Jackson Hits at Las Vegas Concert
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has paid Bruno Mars a generous figure for a series of concerts at their new venue "The Chelsea". This according to their Resort and Casino's website is; "the newest event and performance space to open at the resort, you’re invited to discover endless possibilities when planning your next meeting, concert, convention or sporting event.". Alright-y then. To promote this new "space", what better performer can you hire other than Billboard's Artist of the Year (2013), Bruno Mars, right?.
During the first show of the few scheduled dates (rest are: Dec. 31, Feb. 15-16, May 23-24, Aug. 22-23), on Sunday (December 29th), Bruno Mars stunned fans with powerful performances of his catalogue of songs including the hit ballad "When I Was Your Man", but he also included a couple of covers. In fact, Bruno decided it was "Jackson Family Night" last night. He's covered Michael Jackson in the past, and he did again on Sunday. Watch him below sing "Billie Jean" and "Dirty Diana". The newness was that for the first time he's covered Michael's sister, Janet Jackson. Bruno performed the #1 song "That's the Way Love Goes". Gotta love his smooth, cute and fun rendition!
