Watch: Ariana Grande & Iggy Azalea Perform on 'Dancing With The Stars' Season 18 Finale!
Season 18 of 'Dancing with the Stars' are over. Meryl Davis and her professional dancing partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were crowned winners in the finale episode aired last night, May 20th, on ABC. Musical performances of the night were in charge of Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea. Watch the two chart-topping females below!
*IGGY AZALEA*
Iggy was the first to perform. She had a really cool 'prom' theme prepared for her 'Fancy' performance. However, technical issues with her earpiece caused the Australian raptress to go through a major embarrassment. She started rapping two seconds early and that provoked a major delay with her backing track to be heard in the studio and on TV. Iggy acknowledged the issue, stopped rapping, wanted to start over by speaking out loud: "I'm sorry, I have a problem with my ears". Ahh!! So embarrassing. Anyway, realizing the show had to go on and that 'DWTS' producers weren't going to give her more live minutes in the finale episode, Iggy proceeded to walk down the stairs and ultimately caught on with the backing track and the performance was able to move on flawlessly. Yey!
*ARIANA GRANDE*
After Iggy, Ariana Grande performed her smash single 'Problem'. She started performing on an auxiliary stage where she leaned on a motorcycle before moving to the center stage just in time for the second verse. Iggy couldn't support Ariana live this time as she had to depart the 'DWTS' studios quickly to catch a flight.
