Watch: 2013 MTV Video Music Awards - The Performances
It's that time of year again for MTV's annual Video Music Awards and this year is certainly promised to be special. Not only is it the 30th anniversary of the awards, but the show is back in New York at the new Barclay's Center located in Brooklyn. On paper, this VMA's has the potential to be one of the most memorable yet.
Plenty of stars in the building tonight but only a select few will be touching the stage. Those who are scheduled to perform include names like Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Kanye West, NSYNC, Drake, Bruno Mars, Macklemore, and Robin Thicke. Even rumors of Eminem making an appearance. As for nominations, Justin Timberlake and Macklemore lead the pack with six, followed by Bruno Mars with four.
The MTV Video Music Awards go live on the main stage at 9PM Est. Lady Gaga will be opening the show with a performance of her new single 'Applause' and Katy Perry will close it out with 'Roar'.
