Video: Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett Make Surprise Performance at Montreal Jazz Festival

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga made a surprise performance at the Montreal Jazz Festival in Montreal, Canada on Tuesday, July 1! Tony was a confirmed performer at the festival while Gaga’s appearance was a total surprise, although honestly it was a ‘very well expected’ surprise. The ‘Do What U Want' singer is scheduled to perform an 'ArtRave' concert in Montreal today (July 2) and her schedule was free of duties for July 1. So you do the math! Of course she was going to perform with her dear friend Tony!

The two talented singers performed a few songs from their upcoming joint jazz album 'Cheek to Cheek'. The album was scheduled to hit stores in January this year but it's been pushed back multiple times ever since to the point it's now 'coming later in 2014' according to Interscope. It WILL be released, though, so Little Monster be calm. At the Montreal Jazz Festival Lady Gaga addressed the crowd for a few seconds and said: "Cheek to Cheek will be the end of the beginning of my career”. Very interesting words. I’ve got the feeling Gaga’s next album will be a huge surprise sound-wise.

Oh, and let’s give it up for Gaga! She VOCALLY slayed last night. Amazing!
