VIDEO: Kelly Clarkson Performs “Piece By Piece” On “Ellen” / Talks Breaking Into Tears On “American Idol”
Kelly Clarkson continues promoting the new piano version of her latest single “Piece by Piece” on American television. She made a stop today (March 3) on “The Ellen Show”, and there, Kelly delivered a new live rendition of the title track of her seventh studio album - which arrived in stores around this time last year.
Wearing a simple and comfortable (she’s due any day now) outfit, and accompanied on stage by her pianist only, the legendary singer that is Ms. Clarkson delighted the “Ellen” in-studio crowd and viewers at home with a simply FLAWLESS performance of “Piece by Piece” (OMG at those vocals! Perfection!). This time there was no crying, but the emotion remained super real.
Kelly was also interviewed on today’s “Ellen” episode. She was asked about her breaking into tears during her performance on “American Idol” a few days ago. KC talked about it, the prior rehearsals, and the meaning of the song.
