Video: Florence & The Machine Get 'Unplugged'
Florence and The Machine's MTV's 'Unplugged' concert received its online premiere last night (April 8th) on Easter Sunday...Watch below! Shot last month at the historic Angel Orensanz Center, a former gothic revival synagogue in New York's Lower East Side, the 'Unplugged' showing sees the oh-so-flawless Florence Welch performing a 11-song set featuring cuts from both of the English indie band's albums "Lungs" and "Ceremonials". But there was also time for a cover and a surprise duet!
At one point, Florence sang the Otis Redding classic 'Try a Little Tenderness', and collaborated with Queens of the Stone Age star Josh Homme to do the Johnny Cash and June Carter classic 'Jackson'. WOW! This chick's so amazing. Dear Florence, your MTV performance was so emotional, powerful and goosebumps/standing ovation-worthy. Watch the highlight performances in the embeds below, and click on the link to watch the entire 'Unplugged' concert. Enjoy!
