Video: Demi Lovato Refuses To Take 'Selfie' With Fan
Demi Lovato is feeling bitchy these days. On
Tuesday, June 24, Demi tweeted (and then deleted) about how fed up she was at ‘fans’
who appear to want selfies but in reality they record a video with their phones,
causing a very 'awkward' situation according to her.
The ‘Really Don’t Care’ singer was exiting an
event in NYC yesterday afternoon when she ran into a group of fans at the
building hall. She took selfies with everyone that wanted one, but when she
stopped to take one with the last girl - who looked like a real Demi fan (she
was so nervous, look at her laugh!) – she noticed she got ‘tricked’ into
getting a video and not a selfie. Demi immediately left the fans' side saying "Videos
are awkward!".
It was a bit rude, considering the girl looked
like an honest Demi fan. Did she maybe hit the wrong button and enabled the
'video' option by accident? But even in the case she indeed wanted a video and
not a selfie, Demi should have been a bit more polite towards the fan and had told
her instead 'please, change to 'photo'...', or had just posed for a few seconds
for the video and had left smiling and saying 'there you go! let me know it's a
video next time, please'.
Demi clearly realized she had made a mistake venting too much unnecessary hate to this fan’s direction, and after a few minutes, she deleted that slamming tweet.
