[Video] Britney Spears Performs "Alien" For The First Time on Las Vegas Residency
Britney Spears likes change. Last Friday she dyed her hair brown, and last night (Feb. 12) during a new date of her Planet Hollywood residency in Las Vegas, the pop princess wowed fans (for the second time in less than a week) by including the William Orbit-produced dance ballad "Alien" to her setlist. The crowd last night at Planet Hollywood must've felt really special that Britney did something (only?) for them. However, the whole performance was a tad awkward. Britney should've rehearsed it better and added a pair of dancers to the performance. Watching her perform "Alien" solo and blatantly lip-synch is not a good look for Brit Brit.
"Alien" is a song, and rumored to be the next single from Britney's eighth studio album "Britney Jean". The album opened on the Billboard Top 200 last December at #4 selling just 107, 000 copies...one of Britney's weakest first-week sales ever.
