Video: Beyoncé Performs 'Ghost / Haunted' on HBO's 'Beyonce x10' Special!
The first of the ten concert videos HBO shot
from Beyoncé’s last ‘Mrs. Carter World Tour’ aired on Sunday night, June 29. It
was the joint performance of 'Ghost' and 'Haunted'. Watch the underwhelming
premiere below.
Why do I say underwhelming? Because it was! I
thought that HBO’s ‘Beyonce x10’ special would start with a BANG, meaning the
performance of ‘Drunk In Love’ , ‘Get Me Bodied’ or ‘Crazy In Love', but
instead we get ‘Ghost/Haunted’. Not that I don’t like these two songs, but it’s
just that they are not my fave ballads from Bey, and its performances are not
something I would like to watch instead of another TV show on Sunday night.
The 4-minute performance shows a beautiful and voluptuous Beyoncé sultrily singing ‘Ghost/Haunted’ as dizzying kaleidoscope-like effects take possession of the screen. What the…? I think I have a headache now! HBO better bring THE HITS for the next episode of ‘Beyonce x10’ next Sunday, July 6.
