Troye Sivan Performs US Rising Hit “Youth” On “James Corden” + Tells Emotional Fan Anecdote! [VIDEO]
South African-Australian singer Troye Sivan appeared on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” on CBS last night, March 28th, to sit down to get interviewed by the British host and to deliver a live performance.
During the interview section, besides getting praised by James Corden for the amazing performance of his career thus far, Troye told him, the crowd in the studio and all of the viewers watching from home an emotional anecdote from one of his recent tour concerts. He recounted how he helped a fan come out as a bisexual to her mom.
And during the live performance portion, Troye sang of course his latest single “Youth” - taken from his debut album “Blue Neighborhood”. The song is currently ON FIRE. It’s on the rise on both radio (already Top 20 on Pop) and the Billboard Hot 100 (already Top 25). So happy for his unexpected success with “Youth” - I love the song but never in a million years expected it to smash this hard in the US.
Last night’s “Youth” performance was excellent. Troy sounded just like in the studio recording (amazing!), I liked his colorful shirt, and he did what we all “Youth” lovers do when that drop kicks in after the chorus: LOSE IT!
