Troye Sivan Has His Heart Broken In "Fools" Music Video: Watch
It was about time! Three long weeks after premiering Part 1 of his “Blue Neighbourhood” series – the music video for the song “Wild” - Australian singer-songwriter Troye Sivan at last gives us Part 2, the music video for the song “Fools”, another electro/dream-pop number from the rising star’s critically-acclaimed new EP “Wild” (released early this month).
Part 1, that is the “Wild” MV, immersed us in the story of Troye and his childhood boyfriend. Their parents were longtime friends, they had feelings for each other since very little, those feelings evolved into real love as puberty hit, and in the last scene of the “Wild” video we were left with Troye and his BF passionately making out on the boyfriend’s bed. So, that’s when Part 2 comes. The “Fools” music video recaps that final scene from “Wild” and starts with the father of the boyfriend suddenly entering his room and freaking out about what he was seeing. He immediately assaulted his own son, and kicked Troye out of his house. As the “Fools” video moves on, we find out that the boyfriend’s father has ordered for the relationship to be cut. When Troye attempts to make contact with his boyfriend one day, he’s rejected by him very angrily, and that totally leaves me worried – what must‘ve crossed his mind? That his father had brainwashed him of course. To make things worse, another day when Troye is walking the neighborhood he spots his boyfriend/ex/or whatever from afar coming his way with a girl. He looks at his ex, but he doesn’t, and when they’ve passed their way, Troye sees that their holding hands!!! OMG! (this is better than a telenovela!)

At the end of the “Fools” video, we get a little glimpse at Part 3 – coming soon! And SHOCKING! There will be a cemetery scene… can’t wait!
