Travie McCoy - We'll Be Alright (Music Video!)
Travie McCoy has recently premiered the music video for "We'll Be Alright", the official second single from his debut solo album "Lazarus" - available in stores since July. I think this is a great and clever single choice, I forsee another Top 10 hit for Travie. I liked the song on the first listen when it came out back in May. For those who are saying: "Hey, this song sounds familiar!". Well, yes because it samples English rock band Supergrass's hit song "Alright". Also, I find the video premiere timing to be perfect. Despite "We'll Be Alright" being officially released 4 months ago, I too thought it wasn't necessary to promote it yet because "Billionaire" was just taking off on the charts. The Bruno Mars-assisted single peaked #4 on the Hot 100, it's now #18 and has been on the Billboard's chart for a total of 23 weeks. Amazing! So it was the best move to focus promoting just "Billionaire" then. But now it's the turn for "We'll Be Alright". We have the videoclip, and expect these coming days to see Travie promoting this amazing catchy feel-good track on different US TV shows. As for the music video, it fulfills the track's essence which is having a good time!
