Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga have recently premiered their cover of the jazz classic "I Can't Give You Anything But Love” via an audio video posted on YouTube. The song is believed to be the official second single from their upcoming first joint jazz album "Cheek to Cheek" (September 23rd) after "Anything Goes". "I Can't Give You Anything But Love” was released back in 1928, composed by Jimmy McHugh and Dorothy Fields, and first performed by Adelaide Hall.

"I Can't Give You Anything But Love” cover review

Absolutely exquisite. Do I have to say again? Lady Gaga was born to sing jazz music. Her voice adapts so well to this genre. I’m not saying she should ditch pop, I’m just happy she’s gotten the opportunity to do a jazz album. And with no one else than jazz legend Tony Bennet. Now that’s a huge welcome into the genre, isn’t it?

Tony and Gaga sound fantastic in their "I Can't Give You Anything But Love”. Vocals are on point, and when they have to sing together, more jazz magic happens. "Cheek to Cheek" is already #1 on iTunes’ Jazz Chart thanks only to pre-orders. Mark September 23rd on your calendars because that’s the day Interscope is liberating the album.
