The XX Premiere New Song “Say Something Loving”: Listen Now!
In just a few days (January 13th) English band The XX will be dropping their long-awaited third studio album "I See You". In the meantime, they are having fun releasing countdown singles. The latest? A new song called "Say Something Loving" released yesterday, January 1st, 2017, on iTunes.
Hours before the digital release of the "I See You" original cut, The XX uploaded a fun short video of all three band members singing "Say Something Loving" at some karaoke bar in Tokyo, Japan. Watch:

The new song "Say Something Loving" is a mid-tempo nostalgic love number with a signature The XX sound and with the legendary Romy Madley Croft singing goosbumps-giving lyrics such as: "You say something loving / It's so overwhelming, the thrill of affection / Feels so unfamiliar" in the chorus.
