Taylor Swift Premieres New Single "Look What You Made Me Do": Audio

taylor swift look what you made me do

Taylor Swift just released her new single “Look What You Made Me Do”. This new song will serve as the lead single from Taylor’s forthcoming sixth studio album, which is yet to receive a definitive title and will be out in stores on November 10. “Look What You Made Me Do” was released on all digital platforms an hour and half before midnight of August 24. The track is 3 minutes and 32 seconds of length.

Taylor uses “Look What You Made Me Do” to address someone who made her look like a “fool” in the past (maybe recent past? Maybe the radio DJ who groped her?) and she mentions she’ll look for her revenge. Taylor sings: “I don’t like your little games / Don’t like your tilted stage / The role you made me play, the fool”. And then: “I’ve got a list of names and yours is in red underlined / I check it once and then I check it twice / Ooh, look what you made me do”.

Look What You Made Me Do” has a dark tone to it but it’s pop music in the end. Taylor has found the perfect formula to give a dark theme a pop flair and turn into a song that Top 40 radios will surely love to play on and on. Don’t you get a little bit of a Meghan Trainor vibe in the song as well? We just love this! It’s on repeat. Taylor sounds pissed and she’s coming for blood this era. All her enemies better beware! And further confirming Taylor's "coming for blood" attitude this era, just take a look at the scary closing lyrics of the bridge of her new single: "I'm sorry, the old Taylor can't come to the phone right now. Why? Oh 'cause she's dead!".
