We saw Taylor Swift jamming to Lorde’s American Music Awards performance last year (remember? “Yellow Flicker Beat” was giving her LIFE!) and last night (July 13) Taylor got her wish of performing with the New Zealand singer live on a same stage, the two of them only, come true.

At Taylor’s latest “1989 World Tour” concert at Nationals Park in Washington D.C, where over 40,000 fans gathered to see their icon in action, the “Bad Blood” singer brought on stage a very special guest; none other than her BFF Lorde. I just love how stellar Taylor’s concert guests are. She’s got the power, y’all!

What song did they sing together? I know you already know the answer and you’re probably going to hate Lorde for singing this song for the trillionth time but, it’s been over a year (right?) since she has performed “Royals” anywhere. That’s correct; it was Lorde’s international breakthrough single what Tay-Tay and her New Zealand BFF sang together last night in the US capital.

Looking like a ying-yang, Lorde in black top and pants, and Taylor looking sexy in white top and short skirt, T-Swizzle announced Lorde’s presence to the fans, Lorde walked down the stairs and as the performance carried on, they interchanged verses and choruses, had good chemistry and they two just made the crowd have a good time.

And just if you were wondering… yes; Lorde served plenty of her signature stroke-like dance moves.

Lorde’s currently busy working on her second studio album, which should be out very, very soon… as soon as late this year according to a few Internet rumors.

Thoughts?
