Taylor Swift & Ellie Goulding Perform "Love Me Like You Do" Together In Texas: Watch
Over the weekend at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas before 60.000 fans, Taylor Swift performed a live duet of “Love Me Like You Do”, the massive hit from the “Fifty Shades of Grey” soundtrack, with British singer Ellie Goulding.
This wasn’t the first time the two ladies performed together on a stage of a Taylor Swift concert. During the “Red World Tour” days, and in London, Tay-Tay also brought Ellie on stage and back then they sang “Burn” as a duo. But this past Saturday (Oct. 17) in Arlington they performed “Love Me Like You Do”. Why “Love Me Like You Do” and not “On My Mind”? That’s a pretty valid question. “On My Mind” is the lead single from Ellie’s upcoming “Delirium” album and no doubt a performance the other day with Taylor of this new song would’ve been an excellent thing promotion-wise for her. I mean, not every day you have the chance to play your new single before 60.000 people packed in a same venue.
In any case, it was very nice to see Taylor and Ellie do “Love Me Like You Do” together live. Taylor sang Ellie’s hit really well and for a second it made me wonder if the country/pop singer should’ve been the original performer of “Love Me Like You Do” instead of Ellie…oops!
