Tamar Braxton Releases New Single "If I Don't Have You": Listen Now! (Premiere)
At last. A new Tamar Braxton single. AND confirmation of her fourth album release. What a great day this Wednesday is for the #Tamartian family, huh?
The R&B singer released by surprise today (May 27) a new single on iTunes called “If I Don’t Have You” which is confirmed to be the follow-up to the Future-assisted “Let Me Know” single that was released back in October. However, the new single release wasn’t the only thing Tamar had to offer her fans today, as she also revealed that her new album titled “Calling All Lovers” will be released on July 31 via Epic/Streamline Records.
“If I Don’t Have You” is a beautiful R&B ballad where the 38-year-old sings about the heartbreak that is to not have the person you love by your side at all times.
Although I’m really loving the song – wow at Tamar’s vocals in the last minute or song - because it’s beautiful, and heartfelt, I’m not 100% convinced it was a good choice for new official single. I was hoping she’d put out a bop like “The One” as the next single. Anyhow, “If I Don’t Have You” is cute and at least it shows Tamar’s currently in her prime vocal-wise. (Read more on the song here).
