Tamar Braxton - "If I Don't Have You" [Music Video Premiere!]
Just when we thought Tamar Braxton was going to morph her latest official single “If I Don’t Have You” into a ‘buzz’ single, she premieres the music video on VEVO (with a two-month delay but whatever!). The emotional R&B ballad will appear on Ms. Braxton’s upcoming fourth studio album titled “Calling All Hearts”, due in stores on July 31st via Epic Records/Streamline.
Directed by Darren Craig, the exquisitely sexy and elegant visual shows reality star Nene Leakes co-starring in its opening scene, and Tamar Braxton serving body, face and life throughout the whole of it. Actually, I was expecting a strong lead man role in the music video as the song is titled “If I Don’t Have You” meaning there is a somebody Tamar is truly missing and gives the ballad its purpose but we don’t get to see that in the video. Instead, it’s all about Tamar and her fierce self. Am I entirely surprised? I guess not, lol. Tamar loves Tamar and she doesn’t care if a music video isn’t faithful to the song if it means all eyes on her only. I’m not really mad actually. Loved every look of hers in this “If I Don’t Have You” vid. HOT.org stuff!
