Sia Performs "Alive" & "Bird Set Free" on "SNL": Watch!
“Trying to give @realDonaldTrump a taste of life as a queer immigrant”. This was the real mission of Australian singer Sia last night (Nov. 7) on “Saturday Night Live” and not really perform (joking!). But by the look of this tweet, it seemed like Sia felt the pressure to face Donald Trump (host of Episode 4 of Season 41 of SNL) and speak with him about their clashing views in terms of immigration and homosexuality. Did she manage to get that debate? She better tell us soon!
Sia was the musical guest on last night’s episode of the hit NBC late-night show. She hit the stage to perform “Alive” and “Bird Set Free”, both tracks from the Australian singer-songwriter’s forthcoming seventh studio album “This Is Acting”, which RCA has scheduled for release on January 29th, 2016.
Looking cute in a blue outfit with an accompanying blue head bow, Sia belted “Alive” in a way she only can. As she performed the lead single from “This Is Acting”, a Chinese woman (unfortunately the little girl from the music video couldn’t make it) did her ‘Karate’ thing throughout the stage.
