She's Back! Duffy Premieres New Songs "Whole Lot Of Love" & "Dear Heart": Listen

British singer-songwriter Duffy is back in our lives in the most surprising manner. The "Warwick Avenue" star dropped online today (Sept. 12) not one but two new songs! They are: "Whole Lot of Love" and "Dear Heart". From Duffy's upcoming "comeback" album, you ask? Well, unfortunately the answer to this question is "no", but the mere fact that she's returned to a studio to record these songs clearly indicate Duffy's passion about music hasn't disappeared yet and that a new album is still possible. "Whole Lot of Love" and "Dear Heart" are lifted from the soundtrack of upcoming crime-thriller film "Legend" (starring Tom Hardy), which opens in theaters in the US on October 2nd. How did producers think of Duffy for the soundtrack? Well, let's just say, without trying to make anyone feel bad, that Duffy was the "easiest" choice. Why? The blonde chanteuse has a small role in "Legend"...got it?
"Whole Lot of Love", a soulful mid-tempo, and "Dear Heart", a heartfelt ballad, are both romance-related tracks where Duffy shows she's still got it!
Duffy's last studio album "Endlessly" was released in 2010.
